If you meet the qualification requirements you can join the UK Register of Career Development Professionals here by clicking on Become Registered and entering your qualification and paying the Register fee of £55.
We would like as many Career Development Professionals as possible to join the UK Register to demonstrate your standing as a career development professional with the public, employers and your peers. You can use Registered before your job title, the post nominals RCDP and the Professional Register logo. If you want any further advice on the benefits of the Register, you can read more on why our members chose to join the Register.
Once you are on the Register you can produce a Personal Profile by clicking on Registered Career Development Professional and then Add My Search Details.
CPD Resources and Recording
As a CDI Member or a Registrant you can access the CPD Resources Area containing information on online learning, publications and training, events and conferences which can all be used for your CPD. There are also back issues of Career Matters and recent electronic editions of the NICEC Journal. An A to Z of CPD provides ideas for your CPD and you can also find guides to online learning and accessing research materials.
From here you can also access the CPD recording section. Recording 25 hours CPD per year is a requirement of being on the Register and is checked annually by the Professional Development Manager.
